The GX1400 GPS / E Eclipse series is an inexpensive, compact VHF class D radio with a built-in 66 channel WAAS GPS receiver. Designed from durable casting, offering full operation with 25W, for both professionals and amateur sailors. A GPS receiver has been built into the front panel of the radio, so to broadcast DSC you will not need to connect an external GPS, we will avoid tangling the wires. After connecting the radio is ready to use and work - DSC calls, position requests, navigating to a landmark, and navigating to a call in distress DSC requires only a few steps. The radio was made in accordance with the IPX8 waterproof standard, which guarantees the operation of the radio at a depth of 1.5 m in 30 minutes. The use of noise reduction technology ensures sound clarity and suppression of background noise (e.g. machine engine noise or wind noise during transmission). ECLIPSE meets the ITU M-493-13 Class D DSC standard, has a built-in separate dedicated receiver channel 70 for receiving DSC calls. ECLIPSE GX1400 has been enriched with so-called Soft buttons with user-programmable functions for easy menu operation.
