Built-in 66 channel WAAS GPS antenna

The GX2200E MATRIX AIS / GPS has an integrated 66 channel WAAS GPS antenna built into the front panel of the radio. There is no more clutter with the installation cables between the radio and GPS for DSC or AIS. Always ready to use - acquiring AIS and AIS SART data, calling DSC, entering a position, sailing to landmark, sailing to DSC emergency call - a few simple steps and you will achieve your goal.

AIS / AIS SART display: MMSI, call sign, ship name, BRG, DST, COG, and COG

MATRIX AIS / GPS displays AIS object information: MMSI, call sign, ship name, BRG, DTS, SOG and COG and allows you to contact a ship equipped with an AIS receiver directly using DSC, showing your ship position relative to the AIS object and alerting when AIS the equipped ship may get too close to your location (using the CPA alarm function - Closest Point of Approach).

30 W speaker with programmed fog sirens and reverse listening

GX-2200E has a built-in 30 W speaker with fog lights; Bells and whistles with back listening. An additional benefit - being in PA or Fog mode and using the AIS display - the last selected VHF channel will be heard.

In addition, MATRIX AIS / GPS allows you to use the fog corner and simultaneously view the AIS page.

Programmable CPA or TCPA collision avoidance alarm

CPA - Closest Point of Approach - the smallest fixed distance between approaching ships

TCPA - Time to Closest Point of Approach - the time during which the radio will raise the alarm when an approaching ship equipped with AIS reaches a fixed approach point.

GX2200E MATRIX AIS / GPS indicates the position of your ship relative to the AIS-equipped facility and will alert you when the AIS-equipped ship gets too close to your position (CPA alarm or TCPA alarm function).

Optional RAM3 microphone

When you need to control VHF remotely from the cockpit or bridge - use a remote RAM3 microphone to control all VHF, DSC functions at a second station. In addition, MATRIX AIS / GPS displays the AIS screen and ship information. Intercom functions allow communication between the radio and a remote station (microphone).

Sailing to designated landmarks

MATRIX AIS / GPS GX2200E has the ability to enter and save up to 100 landmarks. These points can be selected and designated for navigation using a unique navigation compass displaying SOG, COG, BRG, and DST.
